Description

Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, polymer medium, acrylics, Kraft paper painted, drawing paper painted, image transfers, acrylic glazing, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.

Meaning behind the art: Working the papers I had left over from another collage I wanted to switch thing up and did a different size. Instead of creating a 8� x 8� I stuck with the square and just went larger to 14� x 14� My energy was very high after a great walk in the woods, so I used it but wasn�t sure what I was going to create. After coating the surface with polymer, letting it dry, I then came to the surface with bronze glazing mixture and played with a line pattern to resemble trees. Self-talk slipped in and I decided not to give it space or time and keep going. Knowing a bit of pressure was on me to create a piece of art for Tack Down Tuesday; I also didn�t give that pressure time. I felt the energy coming from somewhere else in side of me from a long time ago. That time when so young and you didn�t worry�you just acted on the good energy flowing through you.
