Purchase a tote bag featuring the mixed media "It changed my Life " by Laura Lein-Svencner.   Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

I love the style and colors! I also like your description of the meaning. I think the squiggles, crinkles and what I see as a broken path covering the two black circles show that uncertainty.

Those black circle also are symbolism of healing too. So many meanings all together...just like emotion and feeling all coming in at once...good/bad still hard to handle and yes they do change your life sometimes. Thank you Marina

Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, polymer medium, acrylics, painted drawing paper, crinkled blue packing paper. Painted Enos on drawing paper, homemade stamps, graphite pencil and acrylics glazing, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.

Meaning behind the art: The thought about something or an event that happens in your life and changes it forever. And what if it’s a good thing? This is very dramatic and carries a bunch of uncertainty. How will you handle it?

Laura Lein-Svencner

Bio Laura Lein-Svencner was raised in Downers Grove IL not far from her grandfather’s farm and resides now Darien Illinois for the past 30 years. She’s continued with her personal studies in drawing, printmaking, sculpture, papermaking and collage. Seeking inspiration from one artist to another, Laura has pursued her love of paper; this steady pace of exploration has led her to become a member of many local and international collage groups. She also co-founded the Midwest Collage Society which exhibits throughout the Midwest region. Her works has won many awards and most recently the 27th Annual Juried Exhibit with the National Collage Society.
