Materials Used: gloss medium, white drawing paper painted, sanded magazine pages, Never Dull magazine pages, Gesso resist dictionary pages, Intense pencils and acrylics glazing, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.
Meaning behind the art: One of my daughters stopped over this past weekend and we were talking about baking, and I had gifted her a pumpkin bread and muffin mix, quick and easy. She shared about a recipe for a Pumpkin Cinnamon Spice Cookie, and I was whirling in imagined smells and tastes. This stuck in my mind all night and into the next day. Longing for the cooler weather. I know silly but I’m a fall/winter gal. Grabbed my papers and prepared a wood panel and taste, smells and warmth are what is expressed in this collage with out looking like a cookie.
