Purchase a tote bag featuring the mixed media "Let it flow" by Laura Lein-Svencner.   Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

Artist's Description

Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, polymer medium, acrylics, painted Kraft paper, rubber stamp, glazing medium and acrylics, wax crayons, graphite crayon, use of a fineline applicator and acrylics all sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.

Meaning behind the art: This is some continued work study and experiment from a Viewfinder reference I’m sharing with my on line class. With each new collage sketch I’m then working it to a finished piece of art. Working in a vertical compositional layout is not something I normally work with so I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and letting it flow.

Bio Laura Lein-Svencner was raised in Downers Grove IL not far from her grandfather’s farm and resides now Darien Illinois for the past 30 years. She’s continued with her personal studies in drawing, printmaking, sculpture, papermaking and collage. Seeking inspiration from one artist to another, Laura has pursued her love of paper; this steady pace of exploration has led her to become a member of many local and international collage groups. She also co-founded the Midwest Collage Society which exhibits throughout the Midwest region. Her works has won many awards and most recently the 27th Annual Juried Exhibit with the National Collage Society.
