Artist's Description

#011414-A, "Melt Down" 8 x 8 collage on watercolor paper mounted on wood panel.

Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, polymer medium, acrylics, painted drawing paper, painted Kraft paper, printing with stencils, printing with stamps, graphite pencil, wax pastel crayons, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished, mounted on wood panel.

Meaning behind the art: I was thinking about how it looks after the snow starts to melt, piles line up next to black soot, barely any signs of life. As we witness the end of one winter storms we prepare for the next.
