"Partners in Practice " 16 x 16 Collage on Wood Cradle Panel, ready to hang on the wall.
Materials Used: Wood Panel, Gloss medium, gesso coated maps-cut sewn back together with a layer of glazing medium, altered magazine pages, Old book pages, painted drawing paper, altered Never Dull magazine, Black waxed book thread, stamping with homemade stamps and acrylics, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.
Meaning behind the art: It’s been a year in the making with the series of silhouette animals and working with medicine wheel format. I decide to jump in and do this last one today. I had thought I was going to leave it for later, but everything was ready and it has been snow day all day which was perfect for working up in the studio.
