Meaning behind the art: After completing my first class today, in Paper Treasures, where we create very small and with found papers that arent altered much. I pulled the same assignment as my class, which was to only use three piece s of paper. Now the paper that I choose had many colors in it so that was helpful. And I was going to put an image transfer on it but the gestural scribble won out. As I was creating I was brought back to a few moments in my last workshop where Bette would keep a check on us and go around asking us, Whats Up? So today My daughter asked the same questionWhats Up Mom? So titled with this piece is Whats Up?
