Description
Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, polymer medium, acrylics, painted and printed deli sheets, painted drawing paper, graphite pencil, stamping, splattering with acrylics glazing medium mixed with acrylic paints, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.
Meaning behind the art: This piece was created on a retreat back in September with the Midwest Collage Society members. Today I spent most of it finishing another piece of art for a submission of a show and I was cutting it close…had only 5 days left to complete it. So my time in the studio was zapped and today is my Husband Birthday so I wanted to have enough time to cook a good meal for him. Tomorrow will be Election Day and I’m not sure how to feel, I will vote thinking for next few generation to come and the planet we live on and pray for hope of our human race.
